Eric joined the insurance industry as a workers’ compensation claim handler and spent 8 years learning claim handling and investigation. He obtained his CPCU designation in 1996 and shortly thereafter transitioned full time to Special Investigations where he spent 10 years investigating suspicious personal and commercial line claims and earned the SCLA designation from American Educational Institute with emphasis in Fraud Investigations, Property, and Liability. Eric has been active in investigative associations including the International Association of Special Investigation Units where he served as Treasurer and President of his local chapter. For the last 16 years he has led investigative teams in the East and West as well as a national team of provider fraud investigators.
