Requirements

To keep your license in good standing, resident adjusters must complete 24 hours of continuing education every two years.

You cannot receive credit for any course more than once in a reporting period.

Excess CE credits cannot be applied to the next reporting period.

The online exam must be monitored by either a testing center employee, or another Indiana-licensed producer. The Indiana-licensed producer may be a relative or business associate so long as they hold an Indiana insurance license. The monitor is required to complete an online Declaration of Compliance before an individual can access the online exam. If the licensee launches the exam without a monitor present, he/she will be disqualified from receiving CE credit for the course.

For non-resident licensees, the licensed producer does not have to have an Indiana license but must still be a licensed producer in another state.
