What happens if requests are not submitted within the required time?

If CE requests are not submitted within the required time, NICTA will require the student to retake the exam/course and resubmit their request within the correct timeframe. Submit requests within 3 days of completion to allow enough time for submission.

Can the same course be used for multiple states?

Yes, as long as all states requested have approved the course.

Please note: a separate form must be completed for each state.

Is an examination proctor form required for every state?

No, the only states that require an evaluation/proctor form to be completed are Georgia, Indiana, and Wyoming.

How long will it take for my credit to be processed?

Once the request form is submitted, credits will be processed and reflect on your state transcript within 7-10 business days. You will receive email notification once your credit has been processed.

I completed a NICTA course through my employer's internal learning platform. Can I still request CE credits?

Absolutely! You do not need to complete NICTA courses through the NICTA website in order to request CE credits. Simply request CEs as normal. You can use either a completion certificate, or transcript from your employer's LMS (learning management system) as proof of course completion.
